FAQ’s: Frequently Asked Questions about KidStuf

How long is KidStuf? it's 1800 seconds...oh, I meant to say... "30 minutes"

Is childcare provided for my youngest children? No. KidStuf is designed for families to experienceHhhhhmmmmmmm???? together. Your preschool-aged children will sit with you and your older children will sit with other children their age in specially designated areas so that they can experience KidStuf up close. We will have ‘Crowd Control’ specialists throughout the kids’ sections to assist with any needs your older children might have.

Can I drop my children off at KidStuf? No. It's a family program so children may not attend KidStuf without their parents.

As an adult, will I be bored with a children’s program? First of all, KidStuf is a “family ministry” not a children’s program. Everything we do in KidStuf is designed to help families interact and grow together. KidStuf is packed with humor that appeals to all ages and practical teaching that can be used by everyone. Best of all, KidStuf will equip you, as a parent, to teach your kids about virtues all week long.

Who puts on KidStuf every week? KidStuf is a joint venture of the University Arts Coalition and University City Fellowship. UCF has two identical "Neighborhood Services" (church services geared towards teenagers & adults) before KidStuf each week. The first UCF service is from 9-10:15AM. The second service is from 10:30-11:45AM. KidStuf starts immediately following the 2nd UCF service.

What do kids do during the Neighborhood service at UCF?
We offer fun learning environments for children of all ages. The virtue-based lessons taught through music, stories, and small group discussions in STREETWISE (K-5th grade) are reinforced in the KidStuf service at 11:45 am. Preschool-aged children experience learning through stories, music, games, and crafts in The Construction Zone. We also offer a comforting Nursery environment for your littlest ones.

Where can I learn about upcoming KidStuf Events? Check out the UCF website KidStuf Calendar for details.

Hey Kids! If you're in elementary school and live in North Carolina in cities such as Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Salisbury, Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, Charlotte, etc. -- check out KidStuf! (notice we're the place with only 1 f, we're not Kids Stuff - that's what's probably all over the floor in your bedroom). Visit the UCF website

Kidstuf Charlotte: is not a children’s program. It is an exciting new FAMILY ministry (held at Jay M Robinson High School on Pitts School Road in Concord, NC) that uses music, drama, storytelling and comedy to entertain and inspire kids and their parents.

KidStuf is virtue driven…where kids take their parents to grow…together. The virtues we explore are: Knowledge, Determination, Gratitude, Generosity, Resourcefulness, Fairness, Hope, Conviction, Obedience, Faith, Forgiveness, Love, Responsibility, Individuality, Cooperation, Compassion, Discipline, Courtesy, Honesty, Friendship, Learning, Endurance, Contentment, Trust, Initiative, Respect, Uniqueness, Peace, Orderliness, Kindness, Courage, Joy, Patience, Humility, Self-Control and Honor.

KIDSTUF: brought to the families in & around Charlotte, North Carolina by the University City Arts Coalition and University City Fellowship, an emerging, next-generation church.
